Ingredients

1 large squid, cleaned, sliced thin

1/4 large white onion, sliced thin

1 cup scallion, julienned

1 tablespoon sesame oil
Hot and Spicy Sauce

1 tablespoon red chile pepper flakes
-
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
-
1/2 tablespoon garlic, crushed
-
1/4 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced or grated
-
1 teaspoon sugar, plus more if needed

1 tablespoon sesame oil
-
1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
To make hot and spicy sauce, in a small bowl mix together red chile pepper flakes, fish sauce, crushed garlic, grated ginger, sugar and sesame oil.
Set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of sesame oil. Add the squid and white onions, mix together, and place the lid on the skillet.
Cook for about 1-2 minutes until cooked slightly, the squid will shrink a bit.
Open the lid, add the hot and spicy sauce and scallions, mix and cook
together for 30 seconds and remove from heat.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve immediately.
